T.I. Looking For A $75 Million Record Deal

After 10 years with Atlantic, rapper T.I. is a free man (In more ways than one). Looking to sign with a new record label, T.I. has put together an offer for potential suitors. The details are as follows: 3 records, 10-20% of publishing, touring, merch, film & TV rights, corporate endorsement deals, and exclusive signing of all Grand Hustle artists (Tip's small label).
Not a bad set-up for a big label, right? Well the catch is, in exchange for the above, T.I. wants $75 million up front! According to TMZ, Sony has offered $50 million, and Universal plans to meet with him later this week to make an offer.

T.I. certainly had a rough year. With several run-ins with the law and spending a large chunk of 2011 behind bars, the rapper is definitely looking forward to 2012.

Whoopsie Doodles!
A day after being released from prison, T.I. finds himself in an Atlanta penitentiary no thanks to opting in for a luxury bus to travel from his Arkansas prison to his new halfway house a few states away.
Turns out that you can't just travel in anything on your way from prison to a halfway house (Unless it's jetpack, because no one would deny you such fabulosity) and apparently officials didn't want him traveling by fancy bus, but by van.
Say what?! Why do you think they care?

Oh girl! You are in TROUBLE! Last night, pictures of T.I. and Tiny's 15-year-old daughter and OMG Girl's singer, Zonique, laying in bed with her boyfriend were leaked on the interwebs. Although both of the kiddos are obviously clothed and he's even wearing a hat, it's still pretty scandalous! The blue-haired cutie pie is dating member of fellow teen pop crew Mindless Behavior. Oh snap!
Sources say that the OMG Girls and Mindless Behavior are currently touring together....without too many chaperones. Ya'll know what that means! A wise woman once told me: Don't mess with someone who's dad just got out of the slammer. Amen.

He told Vibe magazine that "The funniest joke I ever heard Tracy say during a stand-up was, 'C'mon man, I think gay people are too sensitive. While visiting her hubby/baby-daddy/BFF T.I. in the Big House this past week, Tiny got in trouble when she was caught shaking the rapper's goodies like a salt shaker....
TMZ reports that according to jail policy, visitors and inmates are allowed to hug and kiss at the beginning and end of visiting hours, but "the inmate’s hands must remain in plain view of Visiting Room staff at all times."

"This morning, TMZ reported that the recently released T.I. and his new wifey Tameka Cottle were arrested on suspicion of drug possession after a small amount of pills, believed to be ecstasy, was discovered in the couple's car.
The duo, fresh back from their wedding getaway to Hawaii, were cruising the Sunset Strip in Hollywood when they were pulled over by the police after performing an illegal U-Turn.

*UPDATE: In the end T.I. wasn't charged with drug possession, but breaking probation, which landed him another 11-month sentence at Forrest City Federal Facility. He put on his "oranges" November 1st and is looking to be released September 17, 2011*
