Do you think "Anchorman 2" will be just as funny as the first one?

Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Christina Applegate, Kristen WiigHarrison Ford???!!! While he certainly doesn't fit the comedy pedigree of the others, Harrison Ford's resume is second to none, and he's adding to it by signing on for Anchorman 2. Ford will play a legendary newsman opposite Ferrell's Ron Burgundy. Other plot details on the film are being kept under wraps.

Anchorman 2
is scheduled to hit theaters this December.

Are comedy sequels typically less successful than drama sequels?

Hard to believe it's been eight years since Ron Burgundy graced the screen as the lead anchor of San Diego's Channel 4 Evening News. And speaking of news... Kristen Wiig is joining returning cast members Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and Dave Koechner! Director Adam McKay announced the news Monday on his Facebook page.

Under the tentative title Anchorman: The Legend Continues, little has been revealed regarding the plot of the sequel. However, it does have a release date of December 20, and I couldn't be more excited!

Steve Carell Won't Return For "Office" Finale

January 07, 2013 | 03:34 PM PST

Filed under: Steve Carell, NBC, The Office, New TV

Does Steve Carell owe "The Office" at least a cameo for its finale?

Boohoo! Apparently Steve Carell is grumpy pants Steve Carell when it comes to returning for the series finale of The Office. NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt said he's still hopeful that Michael Scott will return for the end, but it doesn't look good. Greenblatt says of Carell, "He left in the way he wanted to leave, and he and executive producer Greg Daniels talked about it, and I don't think he will. There's maybe a little Hail Mary pass on a cameo, but I think the decision is that it will go out without him sort of compromising his exit."  ;(

The Office returns from the holiday hiatus this Thursday, and will come to a close forever sometime in May.

Will Steve Carell return for the series finale of "The Office"?
Show creator Ricky Gervais is finally putting an official end date on the U.S. version of The Office. Yesterday, Ricky announced the series will come to a close at the end of its upcoming ninth season, which premieres on September 20th. "I couldn't be prouder of the success of the U.S. version of The Office, but all good things come to an end," says Gervais.

If ya ask me, this show has already outlived its welcome! It just hasn't worked since Carell left.

Check out the teaser for highly anticipated (And hella delayed…) sequel to Anchorman, Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Paul Rudd, Will Ferrell, and Steve Carell are coming back and are better than ever! After Steve Carell left the Office he's been doing more upscale fare, so I'm glad to see him return to his comic roots! "Aint this an old fashioned shot to the n*t sack?" Yes, Will, it is. This is just what a need!

Who doesn't absolutely love Steve Carell and Ellen Degeneres?! If you don't, leave us a comment explaining WHY. Appearing on her show to promote his new film Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Ellen challenged Carell to a game of charades… and of course it's hysterical!

James Spader Departing "The Office"

February 28, 2012 | 05:28 PM PST

Did James Spader appearing on "The Office" help the show's ratings?
Well that didn't last long. They brought him in for some star power when Steve Carell left the show (I guess appealing to the over 40 crowd?!), but after just one season James Spader is departing The Office.

Spader, who played oddball boss Robert California, first appeared on last season's finale. Executive producer Paul Lieberstein said Spader never wanted to stay beyond this year.

Will you miss Robert California on The Office?

Quite a title, right? Steve Carell and Keira Knightley star in this drama-com that has an asteroid about to collide and wipe out planet Earth in three weeks. To spend his final 21 days, Carell's character decides to embark on a road trip to find his high school sweetheart… but his neighbor (Knightley) tags along for the journey.

Yeah I know, Steve and Keira are probably gonna be up together in the end, but the film still looks pretty good!

Steve Carell Is "Burt Wonderstone"

January 13, 2012 | 03:25 PM PST

Filed under: Steve Carell, Olivia Wilde, Jim Carrey, New Movies

Will Steve Carell ever be nominated for an Academy Award?

Although I'm terribly confused about what the film Burt Wonderstone is all about, I gotta assume it's going to hilarious 'cause of Steve Carell! The advertised plot says Burt (played by Carell) is a successful magician in Vegas, but he loses all his popularity after injuring his partner Anton (played by the totally rad Steve Buscemi) during a performance. Jim Carrey, Olivia Wilde, Brad Garrett, Jay Mohr, and James Gandolfini also star in it.

Tell me this doesn't sound good!
