Lindsay Lohan's "SNL" Promos

February 29, 2012 | 01:27 PM PST

Filed under: Lindsay Lohan, Saturday Night Live, NBC

In case your date is a complete train wreck on Saturday and you're sitting on the couch at 11:30, don't forget to tune in to see what will probably be an equally bad experience… Lindsay Lohan hosting Saturday Night Live.

If these promos prove true, it's gonna be a really long, unfunny 90 minutes of television.

Lindsay Lohan To Host "Saturday Night Live"

February 20, 2012 | 09:28 AM PST

Is Lindsay Lohan shaking in her boots after all the recent celeb deaths?

Uh, if you watched SNL this weekend, the biggest shock (Yes, even bigger than Justin Timberlake's appearance) was a simple title card saying that the next new episode of SNL would be hosted by Lindsay Lohan! How's she going to find time to get away from the morgue? I have to admit, seeing Lindsay LIVE for an hour and half is a nail-biting prospect. She could drop at any moment! Lindsay's been doing better lately, fulfilling her probation and getting her community service done ahead of time. Yikes, let's hope March 3rd isn't a train wreck. Actually, I'm excited! Let's hope she nails it.

Okay, last night's SNL was the funniest in a LONG time, with veteran funny girl Maya Rudolph hosting and Amy Poehler and Justin Timberlake stopping by to help out. Check out the highlight of Saturday's ep, Beyonce & Jay-Z accepting visitors to meet their new baby Blue Ivy Carter. Prince, Nicki Minaj, Brad & Angelina, Taylor Swift, and even Bon Iver (aka Bonnie Bear) stopped by for LOLz.

SNL Kindly Blasts Lana Del Rey

February 05, 2012 | 12:10 PM PST

Filed under: Saturday Night Live, Kristen Wiig, Lana Del Rey

Only three weeks after Lana Del Rey's disastrous Saturday Night Live performance, Kristen Wiig dressed up as the puffy-lipped poser saying "I thought [I sang two songs], but based on the public's response, I must have clubbed a baby seal while singing the Taliban national anthem." LOL! Srsly, I agree with Wiig and the SNL crew. Peeps were way too hard on Lana Del Rey! YEAH, I said it!

Are sequels almost always worse than the original film?
It was the funniest move of 2011 and grossed over $288 million around the world, but there will not be a follow-up to Bridesmaids (At least a follow-up with its main star/writer Kristen Wiig). Speaking to E! at the Golden Globes, Wiig said, "We're not planning on doing one. We had a special time making the first one, but we're really excited to try something else."

Sorry B-listers that made up the rest of the cast… your Wiig ride to fame ends here. Back to the small screen! Thanks for the laughs!

I know I'm a couple days late on this one, but Golden Globes madness took over. Over the weekend, Saturday Night Live invited 25-year-old Lana Del Rey on to be the musical guest. While some might have enjoyed her two performances (**Cough** Nikki!! **Cough**), the vast majority were blown away by her lack of talent.

And while I think Lana bombed, the critics and commentary on her have been really harsh. Luckily, host Daniel Radcliffe has come to her rescue. Danny says, "It was unfortunate that people seemed to turn on her so quickly. I also think people are making it about things other than the performance... I don't think it warranted anywhere near that reaction."

What do YOU think?

Drunk Uncle's New Year's Resolutions On "SNL"

January 09, 2012 | 02:00 PM PST

My absolute fave recent addition to Saturday Night Live has to be Drunk Uncle. He's the one that gets waaay too drunk at family gatherings and then starts to light his cigarette on the wrong end and talk conspiracy theories.

You know the type! Hear what Drunk Uncle says about Girl With The Dragon Tattoo ("Not in my house!"), girls with technology ("Twitter me, twitter me, I want to kindle my boyfriend!"), and health food ("Is this gluten free? Is there Pomegranate in this Soy Milk?"). I've watched this four times already!

This week's Saturday Night Live was without question the bombest ep this season! So many old-school SNL faves came back for the holiday themed show, but the most fun was when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler came by for a "good old fashioned Weekend Update joke-off." Check out the vid to see who wins!

Robyn Kills It As Musical Guest To Katy Perry

December 12, 2011 | 09:27 AM PST

Filed under: Saturday Night Live, Katy Perry, Robyn

We thought Katy Perry did a decent job hosting SNL this week as apposed to being the musical guest -- But the star of the night was the real musical guest, Robyn.
She kiillllled it! I cant wait to practice that shoulder-roll to a dry hump! <3

Alec Baldwin Gets American Airline's Apology

December 11, 2011 | 06:02 PM PST

Filed under: Saturday Night Live, Alec Baldwin

Well, uh… sorta! After annoyingly not shutting off his iPad while playing Words With Friends on an American Airlines flight (um, Alec, we all know you were NOT in Airplane Mode), the outspoken 30 Rock star was kicked off the flight. Alec has yet to receive an apology from American Airlines, but he gave himself one on SNL last night. A little bit obnoxious, a little bit hilarious -- our favorite combo! <3
