After months of competition, the 12th season of American Idol came down to Candice Glover and Kree Harrison. In the end, America voted Candice as its Idol. The finale was a packed show with tons of performances from the biggest names in music. JLo, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, Frankie Valli, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Psy and more!

Candice closed out the show by performing her first single "I Am Beautiful," a title that perfectly describes her. Way to go girl!

Oh, PS: This was Randy Jackson's last show (If you care).

Was Randy Jackson in any way responsible for "Idol's" success?
First Paula, then Simon, now RandyAmerican Idol's original cast of judges is officially dunzo! Announcing the news in a press release, Randy Jackson says as only Randy Jackson can, "Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to rest, after twelve years of judging on American Idol I have decided to leave after this season. I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It's been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures."

Thanks Dawg for 12 great years. Yo yo yo made history, yo!!!

Is judging a singing show starting to become bad for a celeb's career?

It's no secret that this season of American Idol has been its worst. The talent has been subpar (In my opinion) and the judges have been absolutely pathetic (Again, my opinion). You might disagree, but the ratings don't -- they're in a steep decline. Rumors have surfaced that Idol producers actually tried to replace Mariah Carey with Jennifer Lopez midseason!

The Hollywood Reporter says Carey's legal team threatened a lawsuit when they uncovered the news, and FOX producers quickly dropped the plan. However, they're still trying to bring in JLo for the finale this May.

Wow.

The 12th season of American Idol is dwindling down its contestants, and after voters eliminated Paul Jolley last night, just eight remain. The show has been met with plenty of criticism from fans and TV critics alike. Whether it's Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey's constant bickering, lack of talent, or maybe the Idol format is just getting worn out, ratings are down. Pulling in about 12 million viewers on average over the last several episodes, that number fails in comparison to when the show routinely pulled in 20-30 million.

Last night the Top 10 finalists performed hits that made previous American Idol champs stars, but before they could they had to wait for judge Nicki Minaj to arrive. Minaj was more than 10 minutes late to the LIVE show, and with a call time most likely an hour or so earlier, the star was really about 90 minutes late.

Ryan Seacrest did his best to stall the show, making small talk with the other prompt judges. As for the performances, the gals outshined the dudes in my humble opinion. What do you think?

Do you think Nicki Minaj or Mariah Carey is considering leaving "Idol"?
As we reported, things are ugly over on the American Idol set. Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj have made no secret about not liking one another. Mariah's mad they brought in Minaj after she signed. Nicki's mad because Mariah's the ultimate diva.

So, could Carey or Minaj jump ship Idol? "The short answer is yes. FOX will not be able to force either Minaj or Carey to stick with the program against their will," lawyer Dariush Adli explains to Fox News. "FOX may well, however, have recourse to suing them for damages that it will likely suffer as a result of their quitting, such as the cost of finding a replacement, the interruption in the program schedule, negative publicity, etc."

What do you think? Will either split?

Who ever thought pairing up these two would be a good idea was wrong... Because it's a GREAT idea! Who doesn't LOVE a scathing celebrity feud? TMZ just released footage of Nicki Minaj cussing out Mariah Carey on the American Idol set, with poor Keith Urban stuck in the middle. In the video, Nicki is furious at Mariah shouting, "I told them I'm not f***ing putting up with her f***ing highness over there."

Will ratings for "The X Factor" & "The Voice" top "Idol's" this season?
Who didn't see this coming?! TMZ is reporting that Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are already butting heads on American Idol. Proving there's only room for one diva, Idol insiders claim Mariah continually interrupted Nicki during the first taping over the weekend. Nicki combated Carey's interruptions by simply TALKING LOUDER and LOUDER! Says the spy, "These girls just don't like each other."

If that's really the case, it's gonna be crazy ANNOYING to watch this. Poor Keith Urban. What'd ya get yourself into?!

Did "American Idol" chose the right celebs for the new judge's panel?
It's official! Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban, and Mariah Carey will be joining Randy Jackson on the American Idol judge's panel. Producers waited till the last minute choosing this panel, announcing it only hours before the first auditions in New York City. Sources tell Deadline Hollywood that "[Randy] Jackson is keeping his anchor spot as the last judge to speak, while Carey is positioned to open critiques." What do you think about this judge's panel? Peeps go freaky for Mariah Carey, but I bet her comments will be too nice. I am curious about what recent mega-sensation, Nicki Minaj will bring to this -- Nicki always plays to win.

Is Randy Jackson a neutral judge in that he doesn't help or hurt "Idol"?
Contrary to the rumors, Randy Jackson isn't going anywhere. After the gossip columns claimed he was let go by American Idol producers, the latest is that Jackson will return as a judge this season. So why all the confusion?! Because Idol execs couldn't get Enrique Iglesias to sign on the dotted line!

According to TMZ, Randy also wasn't too pleased when producers tried to transition him into a mentoring role on the show. And who can blame him? Dawg has been there since the beginning!
