Womp womp. No boss likes to lay-off people (I hope at least), but Oprah had to take control of her failing Oprah Winfrey Network, cutting nearly 20% of the staff, although that's just 30 full-time employees. As WT411 reported, Rosie got the axe over the weekend.

At least for awhile, so Lady Gaga says IN AN INTERVIEW with Oprah. Speaking on Oprah's Next Chapter, Gaga claims she won't be doing anymore interviews "for a very long time."
Mother Monster also explained, "The latest thing I do is I don't read a d*mn thing. No press, no television. If my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about?' I don't want to know nothing about anything that is going on in relation to music. I shut it all off."
Hmmm… No interviews? That's like a politician saying "No speeches." Not buying it.

Do you know anyone who's a Nielsen box home? If not, here's the deal… basically Nielsen's data comes from box viewers (Which attach to the TV) and random phone polling. This is where the ratings come from. It really doesn't matter what the rest of us are watching. How's THAT for accuracy?
Anyway, as we all know Oprah's OWN network has struggled ever since its launch in 2011. During the Grammy Awards, O Tweeted, "Every 1 who can please turn to OWN especially if u have a Nielsen box." Not only is that pretty darn desperato, but it's also against Nielsen laws (Which are punishable with jail sentences a slap on the wrist). Networks are not allowed to appeal to Nielsen viewers directly or attempt to influence their viewing habits. Oprah has since apologized and deleted the Tweet.

So saaaad. Just last November, we reported that Chaz Bono popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Elia on his OWN follow-up doc, Being Chaz. It was an adorably cute proposal, but things haven't been quite as cute since. Yesterday, the Dancing with the Stars contestant announced the engagement is off with a tweet saying, "Thanks for your concern about our separation. I'm doing fine, and we remain on good terms with nothing but respect and affection 4 each other."

Looks like Rosie O'Donnell put a ring on it! After telling her studio audience during a taping of The Rosie Show, the host and comedienne tweeted a pic of her girlfriend-turned-fiancé Michelle Rounds flauntin' the ring.
Although Rosounds (Rosie+Rounds… work? Maybe not) just met several months ago and made their 1st public appearance together in September, Rosie is downright smitten and wastin' no time. Rumor has it they're going to marry over the holidays! Congrats Rosie!!

With her mama and her sister filming a reality series for Oprah's OWN network, Ashley Judd's memoirs seem to be hitting bookstores at an interesting time. Sources reveal that the Judd family is devastated by what the has-been actress has recounted in her book, saying: "These ugly family accusations should be discussed in private within the family, not printed and sold to the public to make a quick buck."
Do you think it's Ashley's right to air her family dirty laundry as she sees fit? Errybody knows the Judd gals are total wackadoos, why is anyone surprised/hurt/making money from this still?!
