Why Will Smith Turned Down "Django"

Most actors jump at the chance to star in a Quentin Tarantino film, so why did A-lister Will Smith pass on Django Unchained? The controversial topic matter? NOPE. He didn't think the role of the freed slave was the lead, so he turned it down.
"Django wasn't the lead, so it was like, I need to be the lead," Smith tells Entertainment Weekly. "The other character was the lead! I was like, 'No, Quentin, please, I need to kill the bad guy!'" Ironically, the character played by Christoph Waltz was considered a supporting actor for the Oscars. Despite turning down the role, Smith was a big fan of the film. "I thought it was brilliant. Just not for me."

Last Sunday was a big night for Anne Hathaway. She took home her first Academy Award, winning the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in Les Misérables. But while her first Oscar win should've been the main topic surrounding Anne, it wasn't… Nipplegate was. Her bosom refused to be unnoticed throughout the show.
Yesterday Hathaway issued an apology reading, "It came to my attention late Saturday night that there would be a dress worn to the Oscars that is remarkably similar to the Valentino I had intended to wear, and I decided it was best for all involved to change my plans. Though I love the dress I did wear, it was a difficult last-minute decision as I had so looked forward to wearing Valentino in honor of the deep and meaningful relationship I have enjoyed with the house and with Valentino himself. I deeply regret any disappointment caused."
Was an apology needed?
What Did You Think Of Seth MacFarlane?

His opening monologue aided by William Shatner fell flat, especially the "I saw your boobs" bit. However, a highlight was when MacFarlane showed off his voice by singing "The Way You Look Tonight" as Charlize Theron and Channing Tatum danced
Overall, I thought Seth was just OK. Definitely not the new Billy Crystal. What did YOU think?

Kristen Stewart is finally getting some support, but not from Robert Pattinson. Shocking everyone at the Academy Awards by hobbling in on crutches, Kristen reportedly cut her foot quite severely after accidentally stepping on glass. Presenting the Oscar for Production Design with Daniel Radcliffe, Stewart went sans crutches while on stage, and man was it NOT graceful.

It's no secret that Hollywood loves themselves, so it makes sense that they'd pick a movie about movie making as Best Picture. Although he was snubbed for Best Director, Ben Affleck's Argo grabbed the top award at last night's Oscars. In addition to Best Picture, the flick also took home the Film Editing and Writing (Adapted Screenplay) awards.
As expected, Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor for Lincoln, while Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress for Silver Linings Playbook. For all the winners, click on the link!
Ethan Hawke Slams The Academy Awards

Tonight is the 85th Annual Academy Awards -- aka Hollywood's biggest night. It's where stars are born, legends cherished, and fashion celebrated and critiqued. But not all actors are fans of the event, including two-time nominee Ethan Hawke. In an interview with Gotham magazine Hawke says, "If you look at how many forgettable, stupid movies have won Oscars and how many mediocre performers have Oscars above their fireplace... Making a priority of chasing these fake carrots and money and dubious accolades, I think it's really destructive."
Aaaaaand I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Ethan won't be winning an Oscar anytime soon ever!
