Did "Real Housewives" take viewers from "Desperate Housewives"?
In 2004, we were all glued to the TV as Susan, Lynette, Bree and Gabreille gossiped over the unexpected suicide of their neighbor Mary Alice Young. 180 episodes later, Desperate Housewives has finally come to an end. The comedy-drama gave new life to ABC and made Eva Longoria a household name. It also revitalized the careers of Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross.

The sexy show provided hours of chatty, gossipy entertainment… But it was certainly time for it to come to a close after ratings continued to decline.

Bon voyage, Desperate Housewives!

Will there be a "Desperate Housewives" movie once the show is over?

Yikes! This doesn't look good! Let's hope it's not the result of a scuffle between Marcia Cross and troubled Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry. Marcia Cross just HAD to Tweet this el grosso pic of her black eye saying "who can write the best caption for this pic?!! (yes! that is MY EYE!!!)" The winner? "who gave a hickey to your eye?" Uhhh…. yeah… Marcia doesn't have that many followers...

Marcia Cross Keeps Husband's Cancer Secret from Kids

Should Marcia Cross have told her young children that their father had cancer?
This is interesting, I'd love to hear some thoughts on this from you wt411ers! Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross has been dealing with a desperate situation of her own. Her husband was diagnosed with cancer a little over a year ago. Her twin daughters are three and a half years old, and Marcia says that it would have been a mistake to tell them about their father's cancer.

"There's no point in telling our kids," says Cross at the "Stand Up To Cancer" telecast. "They were so young and anything to them is normal, so they didn't know things weren't normal. They're enjoying their life. Daddy's fine. It's in the past. He has nothing to say."
