As if Saturday Night Live wasn't bad enough already, it just found out it's losing one of its best cast members. Bill Hader said, "It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point. It got to a point where I said, 'Maybe it's just time to go.'" Unfortunately for SNL fans, that means no more Stefon reporting on NYC's hottest night clubs!

Even worse for SNL, rumor has it both Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis are also considering departing the show. Ouch.

Is Seth Meyers the right person to replace Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night"?

We called it back in April: When Jimmy Fallon officially takes his promotion at the helm of The Tonight Show, another Saturday Night Live star will be taking over Late Night. NBC has confirmed the rumors that Seth Meyers, the longtime head writer at SNL, will replace Fallon next February.

What do you think of Seth Meyers?

Am I the only one who just doesn't think this guy is all that funny???

68-years-old, do you think Lorne Michaels will ever retire?
The 38th season of Saturday Night Live comes to a close on May 18th, and the famed late-night sketch show will go out in style as it will be hosted by Ben Affleck with musical guest Kanye West! The second to last show on May 11th will bring former cast member Kristen Wiig back as host with musical guest Vampire Weekend.

Pretty great lineup to bring SNL to a close!

Should NBC replace Fallon with Seth Meyers as host of "Late Night"?

Assuming Jay Leno doesn't pull another Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon is moving to The Tonight Show in 2014, meaning Late Night will once again have an opening. So who will get the gig? Seth Meyers seems to be the frontrunner. Saturday Night Live and Late Night executive producer Lorne Michaels is rumored to already be in negotiations with Meyers, who currently serves as SNL's head writer.

Who would you like to see take over Late Night? Meyers, Louis C.K., Chelsea Handler, Dave Chappelle, Howard Stern, Ellen…???

After host Anne Hathaway's opening monologue, Saturday Night Live's first sketch was the Girlfriends Talk Show. And in my humble opinion, it was AWFUL. Seriously SNL… you had all week and this is the FUNNIEST writing you came up with? Pathetic. Girlfriends maybe could have worked in the second half of the show, but definitely not as the lead-off.

I'm struggling with SNL anymore. It's just not at all what it used to be: Funny.

It's a new season of Saturday Night Live, and a new Barack Obama just in time for the 2012 presidential election. Jay Pharoah made his debut as the Prezzy on Saturday's premiere, replacing Fred Armisen in the role who has been playing Obama since 2008. Armisen introduced Barack in the sketch by saying, "Now it is my distinct honor to introduce the President of the United States… wouldn't want his job, right?" Lorne Michaels said it was "time to shake it up" and that Pharoah had been working on his Obama impression over the summer.

Jason Sudeikis reprised his spot-on Romney impression… But what do you think of Jay's Obama? I like it MUCH better than Armisen's.

Does "SNL" seem to support Democrats more than Republicans?

After much speculation, Jason Sudeikis is officially returning to Saturday Night Live! While Mitt Romney and Joe Biden might not be too happy about that, viewers should be. Jason's political impressions are some of the best on the show, plus with Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg leaving, SNL needs its veteran cast members.

The 36-year-old funnyman will begin his 8th season with the show when it premieres this Saturday.

Actor/comedian/rapper/Digital Short captain Andy Samberg is officially leaving Saturday Night Live. His agent sort of broke the news back in June, but it wasn't set in stone until today. Samberg tells NBC, "It's an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life. Obviously it's not a huge shock, but I did officially decide not to come back."

In honor of Samberg's departure… his most memorable short. "D*** in a Box."

Will "SNL" impact the outcome of this fall's presidential election?

Lorne Michaels
has some serious issues to address before the 38th season of Saturday Night Live kicks off on September 15th. Not only is Andy Samberg and Kristen Wiig gone, but Jason Sudeikis still hasn't decided if he's going to return. If he doesn't, Lorne will have to find someone ASAP who can do a solid Mitt Romney impression considering it'll be full-out election season.

Fred Armisen's Barack Obama has grown on me... but could it still be better?

Jimmy Fallon To Host 85th Oscars?

August 03, 2012 | 03:35 PM PDT

Would Jimmy Fallon as host of the Oscars make more people tune in?
The Academy Awards don't go down until February, but names are already being tossed around as to who'll host the big night. And according to multiple sources, the frontrunner is NBC late-night host Jimmy Fallon!

SNL and Late Night executive producer Lorne Michaels is producing the Academy Awards, so it's easy to understand why Jimmy's a leading candidate. That, and the dude is just downright hilarious! But since ABC airs the awards, it wouldn't be surprising if they didn't want to use NBC talent.
