Considering Brandon's stepmom is Reba McEntire, this wedding might be the biggest country music event of the year!

Infectious beats, uplifting lyrics, and a can't get it outta your head chorus, Kelly Clarkson's new release "People Like Us" will be dominating the radio waves over the coming months. The track is the third off her Greatest Hits: Chapter One album which released back in November of 2012. Kelly tweeted about the song, "I'm so excited people are digging my new single! It's my favorite song I've ever recorded .... Ever! #PeopleLikeUs"
Her favorite song ever?! It's good, but I'm not sure it's "Stronger" good.

When it comes to the music industry, there's no one bigger than record exec Clive Davis. Over his 45+ year career, Clive was responsible for everyone from Aretha Franklin and Rod Stewart to Whitney Houston and Christina Aguilera. Celebrating a distinguished career, Clive has released a memoir on his time working with the biggest names in music.
However, some of those names say it's a bunch of malarky. Kelly Clarkson responded to Clive's entries about her by writing on WhoSay, "I refuse to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation. It feels like a violation." Clarkson dismisses claims that she "burst into hysterical sobbing" while discussing her second album Since U Been Gone.

The stars came out in droves yesterday to support to re-inauguration of Barack Obama as the President of the United States. Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, Jay-Z, Katy Perry, John Mayer, Alicia Keys, Eva Longoria, John Legend, David Arquette, Jennifer Hudson… the list goes on and on! 99.9% of them were there to celebrate Obama's re-election, but the .1% consisted of rapper Lupe Fiasco. Somehow booked as the headlining gig at the StartUp RockOn concert, Lupe was removed from the stage after he rapped about several controversial subjects and revealed he didn't vote for Obama.
This isn't the first time Lupe's taken a dig at Obama. In June of 2011, Lupe called the president "the biggest terrorist" in America. I guess the concert booker forgot about that little deet.

Regardless of who you voted for, the music at the presidential inauguration will be a complete crowd pleaser. When President Obama is sworn in for his second term as Commander in Chief on January 21st, Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, and James Taylor will help to entertain those in attendance. Clarkson will sing "My Country, 'Tis of Thee," a song which the legendary Aretha Franklin performed at Obama's first inauguration.
Beyoncé will sing the National Anthem, and James will perform "America the Beautiful."
Trump probably wants Bruce Springsteen to perform "Born in the USA (?)"

The show was packed full of performances from stars like Demi Lovato, Jordin Sparks, the newly-engaged Kelly CLarksons, and host Adam Lambert. But it was Miley's performance that had 'em all talking. What'd you think of Cyrus' Rebel?

"Miss Independent" no more! As we reported back at Thanksgiving, Kelly Clarkson has made no secret about wanting to tie the knot with boyfriend Brandon Blackstock. After telling Ellen "he's got to put a ring on at some point," Brandon obliged and popped the question over the weekend. On Saturday Clarkson tweeted, "happiest night of my life last night!"
Brandon is the stepson of Reba McEntire, and is also involved in the music business. Blackstock is a manager who represents, among others, Blake Shelton.
Congrats you two!! Yooooow Kelly Clarkson!

The nominations for the 55th Grammy Awards were announced yesterday, and who didn't get a nod is making more news than who did. Justin Bieber, One Direction, Drake, Coldplay, even Psy (!) didn't receive even a single nomination! Bieb's manager Scooter Braun immediately took to Twitter to voice his displeasure saying, "this time there wont be any wise words, no excuses, I just plain DISAGREE. The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one."
What do you think? Is JB more deserving of an Album of the Year nomination than nominees The Black Keys, Fun., Kelly Clarkson, Frank Ocean, Gotye and Taylor Swift??
For the complete list of nominees, click on the link! The Grammys go down February 10 on CBS.

Clarkson's been dating Brandon for nine months. He's the son of her talent manager and randomly Reba McEntire's stepson! Strange.
Wishing all the best for Kelly! I'm SO ready for little Kelly Clarksons!
