Slow Weekend At The Box Office

The second worst weekend at the box office this year! Oh my! The only positive note was Twilight bringing in another $16.9 million in chump change. The big surprise? Another dismal weekend for Martin Scorsese's critically acclaimed Hugo. With a budget of around $150 million, the 3D fantasy adventure is about a boy who lives alone in a Paris railway station. Starring Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen and Jude Law, Hugo sold just $7.6 million in tickets, bringing its two week total to $25 million. Only $125 million more to go to break EVEN! How's about OCCUPY MOVIE THEATERS here people!

"Contagion" Beats "The Help" At Box Office

After 3 weeks raining Queen Bee, The Help has finally been beat at the box office by Contagion, which earned $23 million. The disease creeper was boosted by a mega all-star cast including hawttie-for-president Matt Damon, the always beautiful Kate Winslet, Gwyneth, and Marion Cotillard. Oh yeah, and Jude Law with one nasty snaggle tooth! But let's be honest: We really saw Contagion because we wanted to know why Gwyneth Paltrow was lying on a hospital bed convulsing. It was just freaky!! Did you guys like the movie?

But Sadie said she's not slinging mud. Said a source to England’s Mail Online, "[Jude's injunction is] ironic because he had been at her house earlier in the day and they discussed the book, which is going to be very honest. She knows he has reservations, but she’s let him read bits of it. She’s astonished he’s taken this step."
Law divorced Frost in 2003 and is now engaged to British bombshell Sienna Miller (pictured, above).

Before sweeping the Costume Institute Gala at the MET, the two lunched at the delish French bistro Pastis. Then the British beauties split-up to spiff-out for the big soiree. Factory Girl star Sienna Miller threw on this fantastical Pucci gown and after attending the award ceremony (One of their first public appearances since rekindling their romance), the two ducked-out of the party to attend and private get together on the 18th floor of The Standard Hotel.
