Is a complete studio album by Reese Witherspoon in her future?

It isn't Johnny Cash or Joaquin Phoenix, but maybe Michael Bublé is the next best thing?! Reese Witherspoon, who showed off her vocal chops in 2005 with the movie/soundtrack Walk the Line, is reportedly teaming up with the three-time Grammy winner for an upcoming song.

The track will be a duet… but as of now, no further details are available. Can't wait to hear it!

PS - Am I the only one that thinks Will Ferrell's Robert Goulet when I hear Michael Bublé?!!

Are the Oscars just another excuse for stars to celebrate themselves?
Although he's been nominated two times by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and is rumored to be a frontrunner for his performance in The Master, Joaquin Phoenix says the Oscars are a bunch of nonsense. "I think it's total, utter bulls***, and I don't want to be a part of it … It's the stupidest thing in the whole world."

Phoenix was nominated in 2000 for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of the Roman emperor in Gladiator. In 2005, he was nominated for Best Actor for his role as Johnny Cash in Walk the Line. "It was one of the most uncomfortable periods of my life when Walk the Line was going through all the awards stuff and all that," Phoenix says. "I never want to have that experience again."

Will voters give him what he wants?

The Village star, Joaquin Phoenix, stars in this awesome-looking new movie from Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood writer/director, Paul Thomas Anderson. The movie is clearly Oscar-bait, starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams. Not only that, there's some controversy attached! The story revolves around the creator of a strange religion and his disciple. Some say it's a tear-down of Scientology -- and according to RadarOnline, Tom Cruise "has issues" with it. Ah! Can't wait!

Are you now, or have you ever been, a vegetarian?

I feel like they were maybe hurting for sexy vegetarians this year, no? I mean, don't get me wrong, Jessica Chastain is hawt and all, but I'm surprised to see her on a "sexiest" list. Maybe if it were a "most beautiful vegetarians" list. And Woody Harrelson? Excuse me while I troll the Interwebs for more pics of Matt Bomer. I wonder if Bomer is a vegetarian? Probably is… *sigh* Other sexy vegetarians who didn't make it to the top include: Joaquin Phoenix (Now we're getting somewhere), Ben Stiller, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Ellen DeGeneres. Special vegan fried chicken was made for Chastain on the set of The Help.

Joaquin Phoenix In Scientology Flick

Will you see Joaquin Phoenix in a film about Scientology?
No, it's not an instructional video. I'm Still Here wacko Joaquin Phoenix is looking to revive his career with a big movie by famed director Paul Thomas Anderson, the director of Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood.

Phoenix will star as an alcohol drifter in the 1950s who befriends a charismatic leader played by Philip Seymour Hoffman. Hoffman enlists Phoenix to help him start a controversial religion, but Phoenix has doubts about his new friend's motives....

Love it! Let's hope the 36-year-old Oscar nominee doesn't pull any shiz that gets him canned!

Joaquin Phoenix: "I'm Still Here"

August 17, 2010 | 04:07 PM PDT

Remember when Joaquin Phoenix "went off the deep end" and there were rumors that his face-pubez and bad attitude were all an act for his upcoming film/documentary/whatever I'm Still Here? Well finally the trailer for this we-don't-know-what has arrived. And don't worry--it's just as vague as Joaquin's hints to the film's theme. What do ya'll think? Autobiographical? Or ALL an act?
