jason sudeikis

As if Saturday Night Live wasn't bad enough already, it just found out it's losing one of its best cast members. Bill Hader said, "It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point. It got to a point where I said, 'Maybe it's just time to go.'" Unfortunately for SNL fans, that means no more Stefon reporting on NYC's hottest night clubs!

Even worse for SNL, rumor has it both Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis are also considering departing the show. Ouch.

It's been a pretty schweet week for Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence. Not only did she win Best Actress at the Golden Globes for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, but the hottie is set to host Saturday Night Live tonight. On preparing for the gig J-La says, "Oh my God, it's been amazing. I don't think I've ever laughed this much in my entire life." So what can we expect from Jennifer? A little bow and arrow shooting? "Me, acting like an idiot. A lot," she says.

Lawrence is also nominated for the Best Actress Oscar. The Academy Awards go down on February 24.

Is Jason Sudeikis the funniest remaining cast member on "SNL"?

There's some rumors goin' round that the crazy funny Jason Sudeikis has proposed to his crazy sexy girlfriend Olivia Wilde. The Saturday Night Live actor has been dating The O.C. & Tron: Legacy actress for over a year, and several gossip sites began reporting on the couple's engagement late last week. However, Olivia quickly dismissed the rumors on her Twitter saying, "No, I'm not engaged. But I AM at the Stones show..."

OK, so they're not engaged YET… but it's coming. I mean, the two just bought a swanky NYC pad together!

It's a new season of Saturday Night Live, and a new Barack Obama just in time for the 2012 presidential election. Jay Pharoah made his debut as the Prezzy on Saturday's premiere, replacing Fred Armisen in the role who has been playing Obama since 2008. Armisen introduced Barack in the sketch by saying, "Now it is my distinct honor to introduce the President of the United States… wouldn't want his job, right?" Lorne Michaels said it was "time to shake it up" and that Pharoah had been working on his Obama impression over the summer.

Jason Sudeikis reprised his spot-on Romney impression… But what do you think of Jay's Obama? I like it MUCH better than Armisen's.

Does "SNL" seem to support Democrats more than Republicans?

After much speculation, Jason Sudeikis is officially returning to Saturday Night Live! While Mitt Romney and Joe Biden might not be too happy about that, viewers should be. Jason's political impressions are some of the best on the show, plus with Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg leaving, SNL needs its veteran cast members.

The 36-year-old funnyman will begin his 8th season with the show when it premieres this Saturday.

If it doesn't get better, should NBC consider canceling "SNL"?

Family Guy
creator Seth MacFarlane will host the 38th season premiere of Saturday Night Live with musical guest Frank Ocean! It'll be MacFarlane and Ocean's first time on the show.

Still no official word on whether Jason Sudeikis will return. If he doesn't, we'll likely see a new cast member portraying Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. As for Barack, Fred Armisen's got that covered.

Will "SNL" impact the outcome of this fall's presidential election?

Lorne Michaels
has some serious issues to address before the 38th season of Saturday Night Live kicks off on September 15th. Not only is Andy Samberg and Kristen Wiig gone, but Jason Sudeikis still hasn't decided if he's going to return. If he doesn't, Lorne will have to find someone ASAP who can do a solid Mitt Romney impression considering it'll be full-out election season.

Fred Armisen's Barack Obama has grown on me... but could it still be better?

Does the "SNL" cast talk trash about Lorne Michaels behind his back?
After Kristen Wiig announced her departure on the 37th season finale, rumors immediately began circulating that Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis would be following her lead. A week later, Samberg confirmed he was leaving Saturday Night Live, but so far Sudeikis has stayed mum… until now.

Talking with Men's Journal the actor said, "I’ve left places before. This is very, very different. Goodbyes are tough." Jason continued by describing SNL as "an amazing job and a horrible hob." Umm… that sounds like he's definitely leaving, so why not just say so JS?!

No Wiig, Samberg or Sudeikis? Yikes.

George Bush Stops By "SNL"

May 13, 2012 | 10:00 AM PDT

Filed under: Will Ferrell, Jason Sudeikis, NBC, Saturday Night Live

One of his all-time classic impersonations, Will Ferrell broke out his George W. Bush for last night's Saturday Night Live open. Assisting a troubled VP in Joe Biden, Bush gives some friendly presidential advice on how to handle controversy, over a cold brew.

Hilarious. Miss the Will Ferrell SNL days. Ya know, those SNL days when the show was actually somewhat good.

Do you laught a lot when watching "Saturday Night Live" these days?
The 37th season of Saturday Night Live comes to close on May 19, and after that the cast will change according to executive producer Lorne Michaels. "I'm not really certain myself," says Lorne. "I know there will be some. It's just the nature of our work that no one talks about it until the season is done. Needless to say, I'd like everyone to stay."

However, two sources tell Us Weekly that Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis are all going to depart the show after this season. And if that's true, SNL is in some serious trouble.

On a side note, Eli Manning is confirmed to host on May 5th (With Rihanna), and Will Ferrell will host the May 12th episode (With Usher).
