Will a million people subscribe to Netflix for "Arrested Development"?

Seven years since it went off the air, Arrested Development is officially returning on May 26th via Netflix. All 15 new episodes will go live at 12:01 am on the 26th, giving long-waiting fans plenty of Bluth family madness to satisfy their longing.

Netflix says of the series, "The highly anticipated return of this show is sure to make history all over again.”

Agreed. Can't wait. Oh, but I don't subscribe to Netflix. Wah-wah.

Jason Bateman & Olivia Wilde Lock Lips

December 02, 2011 | 11:00 AM PST

Filed under: Jason Bateman, Olivia Wilde, New Movies

If your spouse was an actor, would kissing scenes bother you?

He looks ready to swallow her soul! Shooting The Longest Week in Central Park, Olivia Wilde and Jason Bateman had a few tonguey takes that look rather spicy! Jason plays an immature, spoiled adult who falls in love after he gets evicted from his $million Manhattan apartment.

By now, surely Bateman's wife of 10 years knows a lil' on-screen kissing is part of the biz, but wow. Looks like he's been saving up for that one!

NEW "Arrested Development" On Netflix

November 19, 2011 | 04:52 PM PST

Will you watch new episodes of "Arrested Development" on Netflix?
My fave comedy ever, Arrested Development, is returning to TV! Well, not exactly. Brand new episodes of the weird-@ss/fantastico show starring Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, and Michael Cera will be coming to a computer screen near you via Netflix Instant! That's how I watch most of my shows anyway!

The show will likely return in a limited 10-episode or so run, and will serve as a bridge between the old series and the new film. Series narrator and producer Ron Howard says "Arrested always was about as unconventional as they get, so it seems totally appropriate that this show that broke the mold is smashing it to pieces once again." Great news!

Has your news feed been buzzing about this too? Arrested Development is not only coming back for a movie, but they are also doing a limited run of another television series!!! AHHH!!!

The Portia De Rossi, Jason Bateman, and Michael Cera starring show will likely air in 2013. It will be on Showtime, or exclusively shown on Netflix.

The show will be between 9 and 10 episodes, each surrounding a different member of the Bluthe family.

This is probably the most awesomest news of the day so far!!

Jason Bateman's iPhone Scandal Continues

June 29, 2010 | 07:03 PM PDT

Do you want to get the new iPhone?
So remember that bit about Jason Bateman getting cuts in line to buy an iPhone? Well, the dramz continues!!!

The Arrested Development star is saying that he didn't get special celeb treatment and that he only got taken into the store early to avoid the paparazzi. Bateman tweeted, "There wasn't one boo. Not one hiss. The Apple guy brought me in away from the paparazzi. Period. I was content in line. I wish I'd stayed."

But Us Weekly is reporting that people in line saw the whole thing differently. The one photog there "kept a respectful distance," said one customer.

Said another: "I heard commotion in the back. I thought someone was fighting… Then he strolls right on by with the Genius Bar guys and suddenly people in my area started to yell, 'What the hell is going on?'"

A third even said that Community star Donald Glover tried to get the same special treatment but got turned down!!!

So much iPhone drama!!!

Jason Bateman Booed by iPhone Queue

Do you think celebrities should have to wait their turn like everyone else?
So Jason Bateman actually seems like a nice guy. And he does good stuff (PLEAZ watch Arrested Development if you haven't). But even he can act like a spoiled cele-BRAT, I guess.

Bateman was waiting in line at a Los Angeles mall with around 2,000 other people to pick up the new iPhone today when someone from the Apple store came and pulled him out then walked him directly into the store.

BOO! Or at least that’s what the commoners in the crowd said. No word if Jason actually picked up an iPhone. But people were NOT happy!

I hope you didn't cheat! Jason, I still want to like you!
