Brad Pitt's New Flick Bombs At Box Office

December 03, 2012 | 08:35 AM PST

Filed under: Brad Pitt, New Movies, Twilight, James Bond

Does the public care more about a movie's plot than who stars in it?
Let's not feel too bad for him -- 99% of Brad Pitt's life is just about amazing. BUT his latest film Killing Them Softly is amazingly bad! Premiering in over 2,400 theaters, the crime film starring Pitt, James Gandolfini and Ray Liotta brought in just $7 million! On CinemaScore, the film has a rating of F. "We're disappointed, and there's no getting around that," said Weinstein Co. exec Erik Lomis. "We thought it was deserving of a wide release because it was Brad Pitt in a gangster movie."

Twilight stayed atop the box office with $17.4 million, surpassing the quarter-billion mark all together. Skyfall came in a close second at $17 million, bringing its total to just under $250 million in two weeks.

Will "Breaking Dawn 2" end up making more money than "Skyfall"?

Sorry, Twilight-ers. Kristen Stewart won't ever, ever be a James Bond girl as long as 007 has it his way! Asked whether KStew would make a perfect Bond girl, Daniel Craig answered with disgust saying, "No! She's in Twilight!"

Apparently Mr. Bond doesn't value the quality of Stewart's work as Bella Swan! Should he show a little more respect to KStew?!

At least that's what 007 himself Daniel Craig thinks! After raking in over $88 million in its opening weekend, the Skyfall star was asked by Global Grind whether Rihanna or Beyoncé would make a better James Bond girl. Craig said Rihanna would be a better fit because she's "dirtier" than Beyoncé.

We agree! Beyoncé is too sweet and seemingly innocent. We'd LOVE to see RiRi take on a role like Octopussy, Miss Moneypenny, or Camille Montes!

"Skyfall" Is Bond's Biggest Opening Ever!

Will they still be making James Bond films in 2030?
It's been four years since James Bond graced the big screen, but the wait was well-worth it! In its first three days, Skyfall has brought in $87.8 million, making it the biggest opening for any 007 film ever (And for the record, there's 23 movies!). Of course, this doesn't take into account inflation.

Skyfall
is the 7th-best November opening of all-time behind two Twilight flicks and four Harry Potter movies.

Pretty impressive. Were you one of the millions who saw Skyfall?
