Would you ever consider wearing Spanx under a dress or suit?

This may come as a shock to nobody, but stars are OBSESSED with looking their best for the Academy Awards. Over the years, it's been no secret many leading ladies have constricted their bods under their gowns with Spanx, a type of undergarment that gives the wearer a slimmer and more shapely look.

Octavia Spencer, nominated for best supporting actress for The Help, says she will not be repeating the triple-Spanx approach she took at the Golden Globes. "I want to be comfortable and look good and have fun," she says. "So I'm just going to do the normal one here, one there. Here a Spank, there a Spank, everywhere a Spank-Spank."

Spanx is so popular, the company has even released a men's line, though George Clooney will not be partaking. "What I do, because I get chilly, I like to wear long johns. The full one with the trap door in the back," said a joking Georgey.

Are sequels almost always worse than the original film?
It was the funniest move of 2011 and grossed over $288 million around the world, but there will not be a follow-up to Bridesmaids (At least a follow-up with its main star/writer Kristen Wiig). Speaking to E! at the Golden Globes, Wiig said, "We're not planning on doing one. We had a special time making the first one, but we're really excited to try something else."

Sorry B-listers that made up the rest of the cast… your Wiig ride to fame ends here. Back to the small screen! Thanks for the laughs!

Fresh off his 1st Golden Globe win for Best Actor in a TV Musical or Comedy, Matt LaBlanc was asked by TMZ if a Friends reunion could be a possibility. While the Episodes star seems to be joking by saying "I wish…I could use the money," we're pulling for the remaining Friends to join the cause!

We all need money… but what we really need is Friends!

Elton John Takes Swings At Madonna

Is Elton John more talented than Madonna?

First off, our congrats to Madonna on her Golden Globe win for Best Original Song ("Masterpiece"). Second off, Elton John and hubby David Furnish need to grooooow up and act like adults, cause this is just embarrassing gentlemen.

After Madge won the Globe which Elton was also nominated for, Furnish posted on Facebook, "Madonna. Best song???? F--- off!!!" He later continued, "Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is." Earlier, Elton told a reporter Madonna had "no f&*#ing chance" of winning. Well Elton, you wrong. And your anti-Madonna rant is just pathetic.

Do you like Camille more than Kelsey Grammar?
Although he won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Drama series, the big news outta Kelsey Grammer's world is that his new wife Kayte is expecting… and she's expecting TWINS!

Now, we're sorta on Team Camille, but admittedly we don't know all the deets so we're still happy for Kelsey & Kayte (especially after her miscarriage). But, the fact that Kelsey already has 5 kids and is a grandfather at 56 (Kayte is 32) makes this news slightly disturbing.

Is George Clooney a better actor than his friend Brad Pitt?

OK, ok. Yes, there was an awards show last night, not just a comedy and fashion show… and the big winner was The Artist (I know, totally don't know anything about this film either). Anywho, apparently it's a silent film (I'm already not interested) and it somehow won 3 Globes (Best Motion Picture Comedy/Musical, Best Actor in a Comedy/Musical, Best Original Score).

George Clooney took home Best Actor in a Drama for his film The Descendants, and the film also snagged Best Motion Picture Drama. Meryl Steep won Best Actress in a Drama for The Iron Lady, and Octavia Spencer accepted Best Supporting Actress for The Help.

Is the supposed "fashion police" too harsh on celebrities?

The Oscars are about the awards and the dresses. The Golden Globes are about only the dresses, cause let's be real, a Golden Globe ain't an Oscar. So let's concentrate on what really went down last night: some super poor choices. Once again, Meryl Streep managed to top our Worst Dressed list. She's an incredible actress, but wow does she need to do some serious house cleaning (her stylist and her wardrobe!). The Washington Post put Piper Perabo as their worst of da worst, with Sarah Michelle Gellar in a close 2nd, but for us, Meryl was unbeatable.

Did you check out the red carpet? What made you look the other way?!

Golden Globes: Best Dressed

January 16, 2012 | 08:30 AM PST

Is "Modern Family" the best sitcom on television?

I mean did ya see Reese Witherspoon!? Huh, Ryan Phillippe, did ya see your ex-wife? She looked STUNNING! But the fashion police and men around the world agree, Sofia Vergara was the Best Dressed. The Modern Family star always looks sexy, and let's be honest… it's easy to look good with that bod. But her navy blue, form fitting hourglass gown was a huge WIN.

Last night was the 69th running of the Golden Globes, and we all tuned in to see the winners how bad Ricky Gervais would roast the celebs in attendance. He was a tad kinder this round, but he still managed some pretty harsh zingers…most notably aimed at Jodie Foster. Missed it? Watch and sound off on Ricky's performance!
