The Enquirer reports that "Elizabeth Taylor's family and friends are furious that Lindsay Lohan has been cast to play the screen goddess in a TV movie." Sources close to Taylor's sons say they'd rather see someone like Cate Blanchett or Emily Blunt in the role. You know, classy babes! Don't worry y'all, this will not be the end-all-be-all Liz Taylor biopic. There will be others!

This morning, at the age of 79, famous film dame Elizabeth Taylor passed away from congestive heart failure in a Los Angeles hospital. As the first actress to be paid $1 million, Taylor was most famous for her roles in Cleopatra, Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf and Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. She is also very, very famous for her dedication to AIDS research. We're sure she's moon-walking her way through the pearly gates to one of her BFFs Michael Jackson, as we speak. She'll be missed!

Yesterday, the newly divorced Kim Kardashian bought the jewels from the beloved babe, who was married more times than she could count on all of her piggies, Elizabeth Taylor.
After the most tan/elegant woman of Hollywood passed a few months ago, all of her jewelry was put up for auction, with most of the proceeds going to support finding a cure for AIDS. The middle-sis snagged 3 Lorraine Schwartz bracelets for around $64,000. Not. Too. Shabby!

"It's one of the most extraordinary auctions that Christie's has ever had and a testament to the affection for Elizabeth Taylor worldwide," said the president of Christie's Fine Art Auctions. After the final hammer struck, Z-Tay's 80 gems brought in $116 million for her AIDS Foundation.

Sad face!!! Today, after passing away from congestive heart failure Sunday evening, Elizabeth Taylor will be laid to rest this afternoon at Forest Lawn, the same Glendale, CA cemetary as her best bud Michael Jackson.
It was previously reported that Elizabeth Taylor would be laid to rest with her parents at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery, but it has been confirmed that her last residence had changed. RIP, GF!

Through lipstick-coated teeth, Cleopatra actress Elizabeth Taylor was able to respond to Michael Jackson's Dr. Arnie Klein who alleges that the King of Pop did in fact have an affair with his office manager Jason Pfieffer.
Taylor and her team spilled: "Dr. Arnie Klein declared on May 2 that he did not betray Michael Jackson by saying publicly that he had a homosexual relationship with someone in "Arnie's" office. It seems he supplies not only women (Debbie Rowe), but men too…how convenient.
Just what we want in our doctors. And then to say he did not betray Michael's confidence. No wonder he has death threats. I thought doctors, like priests took an oath of confidentiality. May God have mercy on his soul."
