celebrity jail time

Linday Lohan was in court once again, and for a 3rd straight time the news was rather peachy. Judge Stephanie Sautner told LiLo she's "…in the home stretch" and, "You seem to be getting your life back on track."

Lohan must complete 14 more days of community service at the L.A. County morgue and five more therapy sessions before her final progress hearing on March 29th. If she stays on the right path, Lindsay will then be placed on informal probation.

Is Floyd Mayweather's jail sentence for domestic violence long enough?
And you deserve it! Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather just got served with 90 days in jail for beating up his baby mama in front of their kids. So disturbing! Usually 'dem prison guys like a newbie, but in this case we're pretttttty sure Floyd won't be messed with.

Floyd will also have to serve 100 hours of community service and undergo a 12-month domestic violence program. No word on whether Mayweather will return to boxing, or try another reality show not Dancing with the Stars afterwards. Celebrity Rehab/Apprentice?!

PSU Coach Sandusky Delays Accusers

Will ex-Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky be sentenced to life in prison?
Innocent unless you're totally guilty. That's how the saying goes when it comes to ex-Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. Today was supposed to be a preliminary hearing for the judge/court to decide if there was enough evidence and reason to move to a trial (more of a formality). Sandusky and his lawyer decided to waive the hearing and allow the case to move to trial without hearing testimony from the victims. Meaning, he will have NO POSSIBLE WAY to prove that he's innocent and this is bogus.

He's attempting to prove that he's not-guilty by showing he ain't afraid of the testimony. Y'okay?! He told press that doing a pre-trial would be like laying down in the middle of the football field. Thoughts?!

Is 14 years too stiff of a sentence for Rod Blagojevich for corruption?
Celebrity Apprentice and I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here contestant and former Illinois governor, Rod Blagojevich, has been sentenced to 14 YEARS in prison after being convicted of 18 counts of corruption.

Although he says he's "unbelievably sorry," the U.S. District Judge didn't think his plan to sell or trade an appointment to the U.S. Senate after Obama became president. Not. Chill.

Before you go on yapping about how he's rich and famous and probably will serve less than an afternoon in prison, because he was tried in a federal court, he is required to serve at least 85 percent of his sentence. Meaning the little cuckoo nut will be in there for at least 12 years.

Jodie Foster's Dad Facing Serious Jail Time!

Will Jodie Foster speak out in defense of her father?
Yikes! Jodie Foster's dad Lucius is facing 20 years in prison for an alleged investment scam! Bernie Madoff much? Lucius has been charged with 25 counts of grand theft, scheming nearly $130,000.

Jodie's 89-year-old dada would find clients on Craigslist, telling them he'd make them a futuristic apartment out of shipping containers provided they issue a $5,000 deposit. Then… Whoops! No apartment! I wonder how Jodie feels about all this...

Has the California justice system been fair to Lindsay Lohan?

TMZ reports that Lindsay Lohan checked into jail at 8:48PM last night for her 30 day jail sentence. Though we're not sure how long her actual stay will be, it is expected to last only a few hours, perhaps overnight. Will this most recent jail stay teach Lindsay a lesson? Or has she already learned it and this is overkill?
