Has Rihanna sent a bad message to women by supporting Chris Brown?
Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan, Chris Brown. The title of Hollywood's biggest mess is still up for grabs. Breezy was in court yesterday for his probation hearing hoping to get good news… he got just the opposite. Brown was informed he tested positive for marijuana in June. However, Chris has a medical marijuana card issued by the state of California (Duh!), and since the judge hadn't explicity ordered Brown to not use marijuana, the test result will not revoke or impact his probation.

Rihanna tweeted at Brown, "Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!! #1Love."

Well done?

Does Lindsay Lohan secretly love being Hollywood's problem child?
Not to be outdone by Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan went and got herself arrested late last night in New York City. NYPD say LiLo left the scene of an accident after allegedly clipping a pedestrian outside the Dream Hotel at a very low speed with her Porsche Cayenne. Officers responded to a 911 call and arrested Lindsay at the downtown hotel.

Lohan was fingerprinted, photographed and booked for a misdemeanor before being released. Alcohol was not involved. The alleged victim was hospitalized shortly, but he showed no visible injuries according to TMZ. However, the arrest could be a violation of Lindsay's probation which says she must obey all laws.

Move over, Bynes… LINDSAY'S BACK!

John Mayer Sued In Ponzi Scheme Case

September 10, 2012 | 09:02 AM PDT

Filed under: John Mayer, Celebrity Court Date

Would you believe John Mayer was involved in shady business dealings?

John Mayer
was allegedly involved in an investment that turned out to be a $100 million ponzi scheme. Though no one is asserting that John knew he stood to gain illegalally obtained funds, TMZ reports that John may have gotten "as much as $465,000 in dirty money." Mayer's lawyer says this is just a missunderstanding. He says that John was given the money for a performance. The lawyer tells TMZ, "John Mayer performed at a corporate event in 2008 and was paid for his services. The opportunity was brought to John through his talent agency, CAA." Hmm. I'm gonna give the hawtness that is John Mayer the benefit of the doubt on this one...

Gucci Mane's $60k Fine For Assault

September 10, 2012 | 07:36 AM PDT

Filed under: Gucci Mane, Celebrity Court Date

Does Gucci Mane's reputation keep you from enjoying his music?

When Gucci Mane was arrested in 2011 for allegedly pushing Diana Graham out of a moving car, he thought six months in jail was punishment enough. But Diana pressed charges, and now a Georgia judge is forcing Gucci to pay $58,161.24 for pain and suffering along with medical expenses. Because Gucci probably doesn't have that much in cash, Diana is allowed to collect on the debt with any of his assets. Gucci's gotta know by now that no good can come of pushing a chick out of a moving hummer!

Should custody of children always go to the parent with more money?
Last week Usher won primary custody of his two children he shares with ex-wife Tameka Foster, but Foster is making allegations that the verdict was a result of a bribe. In 2008, Usher's attorneys hosted a fundraiser for the judge that presided over their case.

Foster can't understand why a judge would award him custody when he's on the road so frequently, and alleges Usher has taken illegal drugs in front of his kids. Tameka is currently interviewing potential lawyers to take on the appeal.

My non-lawyer opinion: no chance.

Would people actually buy a GTL shirt sold by The Situation?
The parent company of MTV, Viacom, is suing its star The Situation for rights to the phrases "GTL" and "twinning." According to the lawsuit, Mike Sorrentino is planning on using the phrases on a line of clothing, but the media conglomerate says that violates The Situation's contract.

The contract states that the Jersey Shore star has no rights to anything that he says on the show.

The Sitch is probably thinking WTF on this GTL legal dispute. LOL (I'll stop).

Should Drake & Chris Brown pay millions to the club where they fought?

That ugly brawl in NYC back in June just got a little more serious. After throwing punches and bottles, the company that owns the club W.I.P. is suing the stars for $16 million! And who can blame them? The day after the fight, NYC made the club close its doors. The lawsuit says Brown & Drake's entourages "fashioned deadly weapons out of whatever materials they could find including shattering the handles of bottles of spirits to use as makeshift knives, and even throwing full bottles at each other."

In addition to the $16 mill, the company seeks damages from Chris & Drake for "gross negligence, ultra-hazardous activity, and intentional illegal acts."

Not a Breezy situation…

If your favorite celeb was arrested for DUI, would you stop being a fan?
He's sold over 25 million records, earned 22 number one hits, won six Grammys, and even has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame… but Randy Travis also has a drinking problem. Just before midnight on Tuesday, the country star was found lying naked in the road next to his crashed car. Police say Travis smelled (Most likely wreaked) of alcohol. When the cops tried to arrest Randy, he threatened to shoot and kill them. Travis was charged with DWI and retaliation against law enforcement officials, and was released in the morning after posting $21,500 bail.

Last February, Travis was arrested for public intoxication outside a Baptist church in Texas. He paid a fine and was sentenced to probation. His latest arrest will not affect the probation since it was in another county… which makes no sense.

Are you getting tired of Russell Brand's same old schtick?

Back in March, Russell Brand lost his cool with a photographer and proceeded to throw the dude's iPhone through a nearby window. The paparazzo filed damages, and four months later Brand finally received his punishment: 20 hours of community service and a $500 fine.

Brand can complete the 20 hours at any charity or agency in the USA or UK. Lesson learned?

Should Sacha Baron Cohen stop pulling outrageous & offensive stunts?
For those of you who saw Sacha Baron Cohen's Bruno (I think it's not that many of you…) you know that some wildly offensive (Albeit hilarious!) stunts were captured on hidden camera.

Sacha has had many lawsuits thrown his way, but this one took the cake. A Palestinian man, Ayman Abu Alta, sued Baron Cohen for $110 million for labeling him a "terrorist group leader."

Alta's attorney says the "case is settled to the mutual satisfaction," of all parties. According to the attorney, Alta received death threats as a result of the misrepresentation. That's f-ed up, but I don't want Sacha to stop doing his hilarious stunts!
