Writing a column appearing in this morning's New York Times, Angelina Jolie reveals she underwent a preventative double mastectomy back in February. Jolie says she had a high risk of developing breast cancer. "My mother fought cancer for almost a decade and died at 56. She held out long enough to meet the first of her grandchildren and to hold them in her arms. But my other children will never have the chance to know her and experience how loving and gracious she was."
The operation has reduced her chances of being diagnosed with breast cancer from 87% percent as estimated by her doctors, to under 5%. "I can tell my children that they don't need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer," Angie writes.
Whether you like her or not, there's no denying what a strong woman Angelina Jolie is. To read her full column, click on the link!

Jennifer Aniston and fiancé Justin Theroux got engaged August 10th of last year on his birthday, so why haven't the two even scheduled a wedding date yet? Is there trouble in paradise? Nope, according to several sources, the delay is due to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie!
A friend of Aniston tells Us, "She does not want her day associated with them." According to the source, Jen actually tried to rush the wedding to get married first, but that idea freaked Justin out, so now they are waiting for Brangelina to tie the knot.

Oh man, another one of those "kissing Brad Pitt was disgusting" stories… wait, WHAT?! Back in 1994, Kirsten Dunst was just 11-years-old when she was cast in the monster hit Interview with the Vampire. Dunst played an undead woman trapped in a child's body in the film, and had to kiss vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac, played by Brad Pitt.
"It was just a peck," Kirsten recalls. "He had this long hair. He was just a hippie-ish cool dude. Everyone at the time was like, 'You're so lucky you kissed Brad Pitt,' but I thought it was disgusting. I didn't kiss anyone else until I was 16, I think. I was a late bloomer."

Next Valentine's Day, you might just be sipping on a vintage bottle of Angelna Jolie and Brad Pitt! The couple owns a 1,000-acre estate and vineyard in France, so naturally the power duo has gotten into the business of making vino! Their first wine will be a 2012 pink rosé and will feature the label "Bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin." Perrin is a famed French wine expert who assisted in the winemaking process.
What do you think? Will this stuff taste any good? I imagine it'll be a bit pretentious.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's 4-year-old daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt recently landed her first acting gig, taking a role in the Disney movie Maleficent starring her momma. Vivienne will make an appearance as the young version of Princess Auroroa (Played by Elle Fanning).
According to TMZ, the little youngster is making some serious dough for her small role - to the tune of $3,000 a week + $60/day per diem! Not too shabby, especially when you're FOUR.

As Joey Lawrence would say, Whoa! A bunch of gossip is circulating claiming that Angelina Jolie fell head-over-heels for Colin Farrell back in 2004 when they were filming Alexander. According to insiders, Jolie & Farrell had quite the fling, sleeping together nightly and practically dating during the production. When the movie wrapped, Farrell quickly moved on, leaving Angie heartbroken.
Think there's any truth to the rumor? Can someone really be heartbroken when Brad Pitt's next in line?!

Apparently his pencil-thin fiancé Angelina Jolie isn't real fond of the extra pounds. "Angie is trying to shame him into getting back into shape by grabbing his love handles and laughing at his pot belly," claims an insider.
The pic above was taken from the set of Brad's upcoming film World War Z. I dunno... still looks good to me!

I'd only buy furniture from Brad Pitt if he came with it -- ME-OW! Seriously though, wtf? Brad Pitt has somehow found some time between parenting, being a movie star, and jetsetting around the world to go into furnature design. He was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, saying "I found Wright in college, when looking for a lazy two-point credit to get out of French. It forever changed my life." He's been working with designer Frank Pollaro to make about a dozen pieces which will debut November 13th. I'm imagining we won't be able to afford any of it, but I'm sure it will be lovely!
