The new Jonah Hill/Ben Stiller/Vince Vaughn joint Neighborhood Watch has been changed to simply The Watch so as not to undermine the seriousness of the Trayvon Martin shooting. The movie is an "alien invasion comedy" about a neighborhood watch group that finds a secret race of aliens living among us. Check out the red band aka, raunch-fest trailer for a couple good lolz.

Ben Still Wants Some Oscar Love!

Although we sorta feel like there's enough praise and awards in Hollywood, we totally agree with Ben Stiller on this one. Speaking out about the Oscars, the funnyman says "It's just too bad that comedies don't get recognized. It just seems like there's this huge hole there where there's no recognition for people who over the years—and this is for years and years, you know—have been doing such great work."
Ben isn't alone. 40-Year-Old Virgin, Old School, Knocked Up and almost every other funny movie of the last five years director Judd Apatow tweeted "Since comedies are rarely up for Oscars, it does make sense to have a comedy category. It's been like five times in a zillion years that a comedy has won best picture."
What do you think? Should Knocked Up been Up for Best Picture in 2007 over films like Babel and The Queen??

Eddie Murphy On Top After "Tower Heist"

The number one movie in the nation is Tower Heist! The Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy starring flick beat out Puss In Boots to earn an estimated $30 million for the weekend.
I have to admit, I kind of want to see this movie! If not just for the return of Eddie Murphy AND Precious! People says "Eddie's back. More accurately, he's way back – all the way to the pugnacious, raunchy comic of 48 HRS. and Trading Places."

Tower Heist is about a group of middle class people, all duped by a billionaire's ponzi scheme. The unlikely team gets together to rob the billionaire's high-rise residence for $20 million. Tower Heist has a pretty dope cast,with Casey Affleck, Ben Stiller, Gabourey Sidibe, Eddie Murphy, Tea Leoni AND Matthew Broderick! I was skeptical at first, but after that trailer I'm sold! Tower Heist 2011!

What a good dad! Meet The Fockers star Ben Stiller and his lovely wife, former Hey Dude star Christine Taylor decided to teach their children to give back by starting their own lemonade stand to raise money for A.L.S. Their kids, Ella, 8, and Quinlin, 5, "raised $120--I think a few parents stopped by and dropped twenties," 39-year-old Mama Christine Taylor told People Magazine. "It was great, and it's important for their self-esteem too."
44-year-old Stiller agrees saying "they pick up the good things you do and the bad things you do...When you're lucky enough to have things in your life and you're brought up with that, it's hard for kids to know what it's like not to have that because that's just not their reality. You just try to point it out and try to make them aware."

The King of Comedy and director of my favorite movie ever REALITY BITES, Ben Stiller, admits that the 10-year delay on the Zoolander sequel is because it's too painful to revisit the film following the suicide of the screenwriter behind the Derek Zoolander character.
Stiller's pal and Mugatu and News Radio mastermind, Drake Sather, committed suicide in 2004 following the success of the film and the actor confesses that he has attempted to work on the film for the "last six or seven years" unsuccessfully. But Ben and pals are finally back on the bandwagon and feeling good!
"Now my buddy, Justin Theroux, has committed to directing and writing it. So I'm excited and I think it's going to happen. I want to be able to do something that lives up to the first one. That's the challenge."
