Adele Snubs Cher, That's Right, Cher

March 25, 2012 | 12:01 PM PDT

Filed under: New Music, Adele, Lady Gaga, Cher

Will Adele's career last as long as Cher's has?

I can't believe the nodes ballz on Adele! The "Someone Like You" crooner had the opportunity to collaborate with Cher on her new album, but Adele didn't even return her calls! Cher had to resort to her second choice, Lady Gaga. Boo hoo. Gaga was thrilled to work with Cher and together they recorded "The Greatest Thing." Cannot wait for that epic collab.

Do you think Usher actually sings at his live concerts?

Say what, Usher?! Ya better watch yaself! OK, so maybe he's kidding… The R&B superstar recently confesed, "…I have told a few people not to go and buy Adele's album because I don't want her to go and break my record. No actually, I love her. Unfortunately, she's the closest to breaking my record for the last ten years. So now guys, don't go and buy that album right now."

Of course, his 2004 album Confessions remains the top-selling album of the 21st century, but not for long!

Should the Grammy Awards have done more to tribute Whitney Houston?

It was music's biggest night, and wowzas did it not disappoint! Adele gave a beautiful "Rolling in the Deep" post-surgery performance while Katy Perry took some shots at Russell Brand. Chris Brown continued his "comeback," while Rihanna sorta disappointed with Chris Martin (Who moments later killed it with "Paradise"). Paul McCartney sang about "My Valentine," The Beach Boys reunited for "Good Vibrations," and Nicki Minaj terrified all with an onstage exorcism towards the end of the evening.

Adele was the night's big winner with 6 awards (Out of 6 nominations!), but everyone is talking abut what the Grammys did (Or didn't?) do to tribute Whitney Houston. Host L.L. Cool J began the telecast by saying, "There is no way around this. We’ve had a death in our family," before offering a prayer for "a woman we loved, for a fallen sister." Later, Jennifer Hudson performed "I Will Always Love You."

Are most fashion designers shallow people?

He might be the chief designer for Chanel, but Karl Lagerfeld needs to zip it! Writing as a guest editor for the Paris Metro, Karl said, "The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice."

Really Karl? A little too fat? I think I speak for the majority when I say, F---Y--! Now… who's with me?!

Do you really care who wins at award shows?
It's not 10 nods like last year for Eminem, but it's looking like the Grammy ceremony is going to be a big night for Kanye West. Leading the pack with a total of seven nods, Kanye is nominated for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, twice for Rap Album of the Year (Watch the Throne & My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy), Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. Phew!

For all you Kanye haters, Adele, Bruno Mars and the Foo Fighters are all up for six Grammys, while Lil Wayne came in with four and Taylor Swift three. The whole shindig goes down February 12th on CBS.

Adele, President of the Comb-Your-Hair-1,000-Times-While-Sending-Your-Crush-Good Vibes, has finally released a video for her hit knife-to-the-heart "Someone Like You."

Seemingly shot from someone's iPhone, Adele walks really slowly around Paris, while remembering that she's better den dat. All of us day dream about early mornings with our exes while this song plays anyways...right?!
