When the producers of the Academy Awards initially met, they both agreed that Borat humungo-babe and three time Oscar-award winner, Sacha Baron Cohen, was the perfect choice to liven things up a bit.
Producer, Adam Shankman admited to (nerd alert!) Teri Gross of NPR's Fresh Air, that he and co-producer Bill Mechanic were keen on revamping the old school evening, but the Academy immediately shot it down. There's no telling what Sacha/Borat/Ali G/Bruno would have showed-up in or exposing or letting hang out!
March 7th look forward??? to baby blue eyed DILF, Alec Baldwin and co-star of It's Complicated Steve Martin, for an extra long evening of big budget films knocking out the underdog, mediocre musical performances, and lots of referenecs to Haiti!? Hmm...snoooze.

Audrina Patridge's Stalker Breaks Restraining Order

In September 2009, The Hills in-bred-eyed beauty, Audrina Patridge, made her first contact with 24-year-old Zachary Loring after the young man gave her a box of letters and drawings (Including on of a woman being strangled!).
The buxom brunette finally took action and filed for a restraining order after Audrina caught Loring sneaking around her property a few nights after he delivered the package. Yikes!
After a permanent restraining order was placed on Zach, prohibiting him from making contact or coming close to Audrina, the cuckoo creepster showed-up to Patridge's pad early this morning and began ringing her doorbell. The police arrived at 8:20am and arrested Loring who is being held on $160,000 bail by the LAPD. So scary!

Reports reveal that Hilary Duff is indeed engaged to her boyfriend of two years, hockey honey Mike Comrie! Sources spilled to E! News that he beau got down on one knee after a week of vacationing and hooking-up in Maui. Yeow!

The Adventureland actor, Reynolds, and Vicky Christina Barcelona babe Johansson, tied the knot on Vancouver Island in 2008 and did a wild amount of sneaking around so the media didn't get wind of anything.
The actress joked: "I never thought that I'd be planning my wedding in a dark alley somewhere but it turned out that way. It was really quite secretive and I felt like I was doing a drug deal-without all the fun." Adding: "It was a very remote part of Canada. Where we got married there were bears and whales and eagles."
