So let us get this straight. This hairy, Bay Area 40-something has, through time, bagged: Christina Applegate, Laura Flynn Boyle, Mary-Louise Parker, Winona Ryder, Terri Hatcher, Ivanka Trump, Jennifer Anniston and now the angelic Emmy?! Maybe it’s a rite of passage to stardom which we just pray she’ll pass through quickly.
Rossum explains to People.com:
"I get why chicks dig him," the star of upcoming indy high school film, Dare, admitted at a W Hotel launch in Washington, D.C. "He's extremely kind, incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, creative and respectful."
As for Rossum’s upcoming project, she describes it as: "an edgy art house film exploring the sexuality, awkwardness and loneliness of teenagers — because life really is awkward and funny, isn't it?" And elaborates (wish she had stopped…): "I used to be an artsy, quiet, kind of chubby kid — which no one believes," she says, "but now I'm really comfortable with my body and my sexuality. I can be naked with the lights on.
I’m going to try really hard to get the mental picture of Emmy Rossum and Adam Duritz hooking-up with the lights on before I head-off to lunch. Eek!
